The aim of the partnership foundation is to create and encourage multiple interactions between the University of Limoges and its national and international environment.

The objectives are :
– promote and develop the attractiveness of University of Limoges
– offer top-level research opportunities to University members and partners.
– ensure that the courses offered by the University are accessible
– support excellence
– guarantee creativity, innovation and a multidisciplinary approach
– enhance the attractiveness of the University in particular through scientific communication and cultural, educational and sporting activities

The organisation:

The partnership foundation was created in 2011 with 27 members.

It possesses its own legal statutes.

Its Board of Directors is composed with representatives of the University of Limoges and external qualified personalities.

The projects:

In order to achieve their ambitious goals, the University of Limoges and its partnerships have the objective to develop programmes and projects which  will satisfy the challenges of tomorrow’s society, a key aspect of the Foundation role.

The researches  and trainings associated  to the chairs of excellence at the partnership foundation concern:
Environment : water quality in large dams ;  management of forestry development
Health : pneumology; prevention of the interruption of people’s autonomy in their living place; studies about children born in the Haute-Vienne Department in France (children aged  1 to 16) ; kidney diseases
Human sciences : International courts : courts archives.

The future:

If you wish to support the University of Limoges in its development or one of its activities, you can make a donation to its Foundation.
